Getting Started with the EZPi
When you connect the EZPi to your machine it should automatically connect and display the IP address of your Pi on the printer LCD. If it does not you can try typing http://octopi in your browser to access it. If that fails check your router to see what DHCP address the EZPi grabbed from the router then access it through your web browser (example: http://172.16.21.122).
Default Login for EZPi:
- Default Username: ezpi
- Default Password: EzP1.Th3D
- Default SSH Username: pi
- Default Password: EzP1.ssh
There is also a backup account that does NOT allow remote access to the EZPi by TH3D but it is there in case you ever lock yourself out and need us to remote into your computer then access the EZPi to get it back up and running for you. We change the standard login credentials for the web interface AND SSH security purposes.
The EZPi is ONLY meant to be used through your web browser. There is no frontend installed for use over a monitor with HDMI or the AV port.
Please follow the step below to set your printer baud rate if the EZPi cannot auto-detect the printer connection. Most Creality machines use 115200. Tevo uses 250000. It will either be 115200 or 250000, try 115200 first.
Reloading the EZPi Image
In the event you want to start over or you break the EZPi with a plugin or change and it will not boot again you can restore the factory image by removing the MicroSD card from the EZPi and “burning” it to the SD card again. The flashing tool is for a Windows PC. We have not tested imaging from Mac or Linux.
You are welcome to use this on your own Pi but this is provided AS-IS with NO warranty or support for non-EZPi customers. Requires a 8GB MicroSD or larger and Pi 3B or Pi 3B+.

Stuck in “cancelling” mode?
This is an OctoPrint bug. Here is the workaround: https://discourse.octoprint.org/t/octoprint-wont-cancel-after-1-3-7-update/1176/31?u=foosel
We will be implementing a fix in the next image and updating to the next OctoPrint version when it prompts you should resolve this as well. As of 1.3.9 it is not fixed in OctoPrint.
