What does this do?
This is an automatic fire suppression system that you put in a 3D printer enclosure at the TOP of the enclosure. If a fire starts it will automatically release the extinguishing agent and put the fire out. The chemical leaves NO residue to clean up on the printer and is ideal for extra peace of mind at home, work, or school in case something goes wrong while you’re printing.
This is intended for use inside a printer enclosure and not for a printer that is unenclosed.

Question
Craig Williams –
Does the enclosure have to be 100% sealed? I have my E3 inside a metal 12U server case not for high temp printing but just for piece of mind which does have some ventilation holes.

That enclosure should work fine. It just needs to be contained a bit so the extinguishing agent doesn’t go everywhere.
