Why do you want this product?
This is a great addon for your 3D printer. It can be placed directly on your printer bed or on a metal flex plate like our EZFlex² System. PEI type sheets are great but their adhesion strength pales in comparison to the EZMat². The EZMat² just sticks prints down with no adhesives needed (even for ABS, you still need an enclosure for ABS). These mats are the same as our previous EZMat product but have been re-designed and we’re using genuine 3M adhesive that comes of very clean when compared to other bed sheets on the market. This means that replacing the sheet is quicker and leaves less residue on the bed when it is time to replace it. This new version of the EZMat is the same material and quality as our original blue one, just with a cleaner design.
Maintenance Tip – Make sure to clean your bed before applying the magnet and occasionally wipe down the plate with IPA to keep the surface free of oils for best adhesion.
Important Information
- Recommended print temps
- PLA – 0C-60C
- ABS: 90C-100C
- PETG/PCTG: 70C-80C
- TPU/TPE: 0-70C
- PC: 120C
- Since our mat is based on Polycarbonate we recommend using something in-between the mat and the PC to help it release easier. You can use glue stick or hairspray to prevent this from happening.
- Product Usage Guidelines
- ABS – You need an enclosure to print ABS on any printer with any build surface type. ABS warps when printing and having a stable, high ambient temperature will prevent this.
- PETG/PCTG/TPU – If you are not careful with your 1st layer you can risk bonding the PETG/PCTG/TPU to the PEI surface. This will damage the surface. To prevent damage to the surface apply hairspray or PVA gluestick before printing PETG/PCTG/TPU on the PEI or EZMat surfaces
- Part Removal – Make sure your plate is at close to room temp (under 30C) before removing parts. If you remove it when hot its more likely to damage the surface.
- Maintain Proper Z Height – When starting a print make sure your bed is level and your nozzle is not too close to the bed (if using an ABL system check that your Z offset is correct and use the Babystepping to adjust during a print). Running the nozzle too close will damage the surface and/or embed the plastic into the sheet. Damage due to improper Z height is hard to fix and is not covered under warranty.

- Bed Sizing Notes
- Be sure to check your bed side. TH3D is not responsible for the wrong size ordered and/or errors in the listings. We try do our best to keep descriptions up to date but some manufacturers make changes to machines after release.
Installation Notes/Tips
- Clean the surface with acetone then glass cleaner. If you do not have acetone just glass cleaner will suffice.
- Align the bed mat on the bed or glass that you want to apply to
- Bond strength can also be improved with firm application pressure and moderate heat (50C) causing the adhesive to develop intimate contact with the bonding surface.
- Peel back one corner
- Slowly apply it to the bed pressing firmly as you peel the backing to avoid getting bubbles under the mat

These things are crazy good. I got two of them with the intent to protect my glass bed while printing PETG. Well its now a permanent build surface on my Ender 3, I dont need glue or any thing with PETG and PLA lays down just as easy. No more Glue or blue tape just the EXMAT 🙂

I Used to print using tape or glass, but I tried this once now I can’t go back! So far we have bought 3 of them for our Alfawise U10… It’s 1st layer adhesion is great even when starting further away from the bed, and it actually looks good on my printer 🙂 Thanks TH3D 🙂

I’ve tried everything and the EZMat is by far the best build surface I have ever used!

Works great, excellent adhesion. I used with the TH3D steel bed over the existing magnetic bed.

The EZMat is awesome! I trimmed the 300 x 300 sheet to fit my CR-10 Mini. It was easy to trim and easy to apply with no bubbles. I have printed PETG and PLA on it with no issues at all. My wife is very happy to get her hairspray back.

Everyone needs to have this on there printer, I have used almost every print surface out there. The EZMat is like magic. Make sure your first layer is not to squashed, or you will have a hard time removing the print. With the EZMAT, I can also print faster, it is hard to explain, the plastic just sticks. Great Product Tim. Thank You

I ordered the 235×235 size for my Tevo Tarantula Pro. I was used to using hairspray and glass on my CR-10 machines so I was skeptical of how well a flexible mat would be for adhesion. Boy was I wrong! This thing has incredible adhesion! I printed some models that used tree supports from Cura that were tiny, like the size of a finishing nail head. They stuck just as well as the larger pieces. I will definitely be adding one of these print surfaces to all my machines very soon!

I can’t explain it but everything sticks. If you really squish the first layer it can be hard to remove the print. Once I got the fist layer right it works perfect. I won’t use any other print surface.

I use them on all of my printers. Everything sticks like glue to them I just use a scraper and a kitchen mallet and pop the prints off. I print petg, pla, tpu, abs lower bed temp and no need to squish 1st layer as much.I even cut one to fit my anycubic kossel.definitely would recommend.

Super easy to apply to any hard surface. Watched the reviews and took the leap.
You should to if you need a new surface.
Nice price!
Great adhesion!
Remove print and go again.
Brand New PLA first print with Temp Tower. It stuck like a rock and the print was great.
I’ll will order more of these to transition all my print surfaces.

Everything sticks good and it is a nice thick sheet. It seems durable and like it will last a long time.

This is probably one of the best build surfaces I’ve used. I never have to worry about a print coming off when printing. Also love the fact that I can use lower bed temps since the adhesion is so good. I do find that PLA sticks a bit too well when printing on it though but I mainly only use the EZMat when I print PETG

I have had really good luck with both PLA and PETG on this surface. I have not used hair spray or glue stick with PETG, and it comes off nicely. Just mess with your bed temp. to get a nice first layer adhesion, but not much more than that and you should be happy.

Got this in the other day and ripped off the OEM Ender 5 magnetic surface and installed this directly on to the metal bed. I am just blown away how well this surface works. As stated by other reviews it may work a little too well. I am currently going through their tips and tricks doc to see if I can lesson the adhesion level as I felt like I was having a fight with my machine to remove my print.
With all that said would highly recommend.

500mm is huge! Works better than expected, be sure to get the flex plate so it will be easier to remove your prints.

Once I put this on the only adhesion issue I have had was things sticking too well. I stuck it to a piece of glass and I get fantastic first layers.

Perfection.
I’ve tested sooooo many print surfaces. I literally have a pile of common brands that just don’t compare to the EZMAT. It is, by far, my absolute favorite print surface. I have it stuck to glass surfaces that lost their stick and I have it on spring steel sheets.
I have literally paid $80+ for big name print surface ‘systems” and, until I stuck an EZMAT on them, they were just meh.
It will be the surface for all my printers going forward. I am off to order 3 more!

Fantastic is all I can say. I cut the 300×300 down to fit mirror glass for my CR-10mini and I’m glad I made the switch from a mirror/PEI sheet. While I haven’t tried ABS or flexibles yet, PLA and PETG stick to this guy like crazy. Just a little glue stick makes removing the PETG easy. It’s also incredibly flat and easy to install. The EZMat is stiff enough where accidentally creating bubbles isn’t an issue. This will be the last build surface I ever purchase without a doubt.

After reading several reviews about this print surface, I ordered 2 and they came in 2 days later. I have to cut them to fit 300×300 which is my mirror glass to replace my stock magnetic surface. It fixes my adhesion problem but now I have a hard time to get print off. It sticks really really well. I didn’t think far enough when I tried to print a FLAT calibration object and it took me few days scraping residues off, all others which have some thickness you just wait for print to cool off to remove. I’m ordering 2 more to explore other options like clipping it (or with thin magnets to keep it flat) onto glass surface. So far I like it and keep using it.

Purchased this item a few months ago. First one went on the default Creality base plate which I do not feel flexes enough, so I later purchased a second on with the EZFlex plate and have been in love. As recovering glass user, I got so spoiled to the perfect adhesion of this solution (over-adhesion at first before Tim and team pointed me to the guide via Reddit) that when it finally had an adhesion issue, I panicked… Until i realized how much I had printed. I sanded with a sand sponge, washed off with IPA, and went back at it. Only done PLA so far, but just got my first roll of PETG, so plan to spread my wings a bit in coming weeks.
NOTE: You if you print small taller parts, it CAN adhere so well that they break coming off. Account for this in your printing planning. I ran into issues with the tail of the T-Rex model on Thingiverse and had to print a couple times before I got it to come off cleanly. Not a knock, but something to consider as you go.

This mat came highly recommended from a friend. I suggested the EZABL Pro and he loved it, then he ordered this mat. I had been thinking about it, and purchased it when I saw his in action. I love it and would never go back to the blue tape and hair spray I was using.

Ezmat paired with the Ezflex plate is amazing, been using it for several months and no issues with adhesion as of yet but i do run two of these and swap them out between prints.

This a great surface, adhesion is so good I can turn the bed off after a few layers to save energy.
