FAQ
What bed types does this work on? This works on all beds including PEI, Flex Plates, Glass, Garolite, and many more.
Glass Bed application tips: When using with glass apply it at 50C or higher and go slowly to let it flow on the glass, otherwise it will form droplets instead of spreading out.
What filaments does this work with? We’ve tested this and it works on PLA, PETG, TPU/TPE, ABS, ASA, Nylons, PC, CF and GF Fills, and Wood Fill.
Do I need heat to use the glue? Yes, our Bed Cement is formulated to be used with bed heat on. 60C for PLA, 80C for PETG, 100C for ABS/ASA – Basically whatever heat your filament maker recommends for their plastic.
How often do I need to re-apply? In most cases you should re-apply the glue every 5-10 prints. Basically, re-apply the glue when adhesion is low. If you are printing in the same spot over and over again you can just touch up just that spot on the bed where you were printing instead of having to do the entire bed. With our EZApply applicator tip, this is super ‘EZ’.
Prints still not sticking? While the adhesive is great it will not compensate for user error of their machine.
- Make sure you have a good 1st layer with it squished on the bed
- If using a printer equipped with auto bed leveling make sure it is calibrated
- Make sure you are heating up the bed
- Slow down your 1st layer speed to improve adhesion
Important Information
- This adhesive is Isopropyl Alcohol based so keep it away from open flames and other ignition sources
- We use a water + IPA base to help the adhesive dry quicker than cheaper water-based adhesives. It also helps with dissolution and transfer of the glues in the solution.
- Replace the cap when you are done applying the product to your bed to keep it from drying out
- Bottles have a seal in them – Unscrew the top and remove the seal before use.
- Store bottle upright after using – Bottles can possibly leak if left on their side or upside down for extended periods of time.
- KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN – DO NOT DRINK

I tried it on some of my build plates that don’t need anything – just to be extra sure. It worked on my Bambu X1C, My Prusa XL, and a Rat Rig. Put it on once and have been printing for days. I will have to check the bottle, I didn’t see the applicator. I took the top off to remove the seal and just poured a little on the plate and spread it around with a small piece of paper towel. I have used Vison Miner and this compares well at a much more affordable price

Please watch the video on the product page. There is a cap that covers the applicator.

Tim’s Bed Cement works great. It really works as described. Holds the print firmly and easily releases. TPU can be a bugger to release. Just finished doing a batch of TPU prints and the Bed Cement held the prints and easily released them. The TPU came off the bed so easy and clean! Thanks Tim for bringing the community another great product!

I have used this glue 3 times, and it has spilt on my floor 3 times. when pulling off the lid the applicator likes to come off also, no twisting required. cleanup is easy with alcohol on cement floor. besides making a mess the glue seems to work well enough.

I know it makes a difference because when i get lazy about applying it, failures start to happen — and then STOP when i apply!
Applicator is great. Much less of a gooey mess than stick glue.

Awesome bed cement that works exactly as intended. Only thing I wish is that it was maybe a little thicker. A thicker solution would provide better control on where and how it’s applied. Otherwise amazing. Recommend.

I love my aftermarket Bambu Lab X1-Carbon build plates with cool designs like the PEO plates. But some filaments just do not like sticking to it. So I figured I would give this bed cement a try on the PEO build plate….. It prints on it with great adhesion and the printed surface looks as nothing was even applied to the build plate!

I print allot in ABS and have tried many other bed adhesives and had been disappointed (mainly because I am cheap) and thought that I would forever be relegated to ABS Slurry for my adhesive. The pain in the rear to doing that was the cleaning of the glass. Tim placed it on a discount and I decided to bite the bullet.
It is nice on how easy it lays on the glass and have used the original layer for a couple more prints. Warping is all but eliminated. I don’t see any residue on the black printed parts. Sticks to the part during the entire print and finally releases cleanly (including the brim) upon the bed cooling. Cleaning is so much nicer now. A simple soap and water dose the trick nicely. I tried to clean the bed with alcohol which worked out on a forth print but I really don’t recommend do that.
Would I buy this again? Well, I did and bought 2 more so 1 will be a gift for a friend.

I thought that Vision Minor is a very good product, and Tim would be hard pressed to exceed what Vision Minor was able to do.. But I must say its been rock solid for me since receiving it.. But the standout for me really is the applicator this alone puts it head and shoulders above the competition with the ease of applying the solution..
Please get this into places like Jake3D so we Europeans can benefit more.. I’m glad I bought 3 bottles of it

I just received my bottle and have a couple prints done. It took me a bit to figure out how to get the cap off, but Tim’s video helped with this. I especially like the sponge top applicator. I also purchased the Nano Polymer bed adhesive from TH3D a while ago and it works great, but putting it on my bed has been a bit of trouble. I had to put down a bunch of droplets and then use an acid brush to spread the solution around the bed. This sponge applicator is so much easier. So far the prints are sticking nicely and removal isn’t too bad either. It doesn’t hurt that this solution is more cost effective.

Love it! So far so good and the applicator is great !

Tested this and the print fits well. but it loosens when the bed gets cold. Much easier to apply the printed circuit board.

WORKS GREAT AMAZING STUFF

Does exactly what it says it does. I have some warpage on my build plate and having some difficulties with adhesion on the outer edges. After using this bed cement is like a new printer. Releases way easier than stick glue easy to apply. The lid confused me at first, but turns out I’m an idiot. Will absolutely but again

Bed Cement is working great! Several weeks now across multiple printers. No issues.

I have tried and tried but this stuff is mediocre at best for me. I have cleaned plates, shaken the bottle, tried different types of plates, temps etc and it just lets loose. I was excited to try a new product but was less than enthused by its performance. I have been trying this over an over for the past 6 weeks and still have prints popping loose.
Tim Hoogland –
Sorry to hear that has been your experience. We use it in our printer farm and have had nothing but success with with.

Works perfectly, easy to apply, great price

For the past couple years I had been using Vision Minor and it’s very good, however it’s also very expensive. I have now switched to “Bed Cement” and I find it comparable to the others at half the price. I’ll be purchasing again. I use primarily nylon, PC and the other high grade filaments and it hasn’t let me down yet.

This is with out a doubt the best adhesive I’ve used. It’s a 10 out of 5 stars, in my opinion.

Finally something that works and is affordable, Thank You Tim and TH3D for another great product.

I took a chance on this, I have been using regular glue stick on the smooth plate for my K1. It works great!!! Much cleaner than the glue stick, sticks well while printing, and comes off very easily (but not TOO easily) after the bed cools. I highly recommend this and I will be buying more in the future!

Honestly, I took a chance on this. Makes prints stick as well as conventional glue sticks but they release FAR more reliably. Works on glass, PEI & bare stainless steel. Cheaper than alternatives.

Best single use 3D printer adhesive I’ve ever used. It does stick like cemented until it’s cooled down and it’s had time to naturally cool down to room temperature it comes right iff. About the only downside is it doesn’t last for multiple uses like some other brands but this stuff is staying in the drawer for the hard to print/stick filements, I’ll use something cheap for PETG that will last 3 to 5 prints but it won’t stick as near as good either of those 3 to 5 times as it does with this stuff. Cement was the right name for it! Just be careful as it is easy to squeeze to hard and waste a bit even though I thought I barely squeezed the bottle but has a liquid/water like texture unlike a lot of sticky stuff out there granted I didn’t get any on my hands.

Handy addition and way better than glue sticks. No mess and super easy to apply. Awesome!

Well all I can say is it works, I don’t know what’s in it but whatever it is it works great. I have been using the vision miner nano polymer adhesive for years and I was watching the live stream when Tim introduced his version and I figured I would give it a try. I have bought a bunch of things from TH3D and haven’t been disappointed so I figured I would try it even though I still have a full bottle of the vision miner. Well it works great and I do like the sponge top applicator thing for wiping it on the build plate and that an application lasts around 15 to 20 prints so it will last quite a long time. I like the price also :). Tim keep up the good work and innovation on your products.

I ordered this product as soon as Tim made it available, and I have had fantastic results with print plate adhesion. It just works, flat out, without any of the gummy mess generated by some stick adhesives. It also cleans up off the print plate real easy. Little warm water and a micro-fiber towel and you are ready to go again very quickly. I bought two initially, and will buy more when I get close to running out, but it make take awhile, because You don’t have to use very much each time. Bravo Zulu Tim and Company. Nothing but the best.
