FAQ
What bed types does this work on? This works on all beds including PEI, Flex Plates, Glass, Garolite, and many more.
Glass Bed application tips: When using with glass apply it at 50C or higher and go slowly to let it flow on the glass, otherwise it will form droplets instead of spreading out.
What filaments does this work with? We’ve tested this and it works on PLA, PETG, TPU/TPE, ABS, ASA, Nylons, PC, CF and GF Fills, and Wood Fill.
Do I need heat to use the glue? Yes, our Bed Cement is formulated to be used with bed heat on. 60C for PLA, 80C for PETG, 100C for ABS/ASA – Basically whatever heat your filament maker recommends for their plastic.
How often do I need to re-apply? In most cases you should re-apply the glue every 5-10 prints. Basically, re-apply the glue when adhesion is low. If you are printing in the same spot over and over again you can just touch up just that spot on the bed where you were printing instead of having to do the entire bed. With our EZApply applicator tip, this is super ‘EZ’.
Prints still not sticking? While the adhesive is great it will not compensate for user error of their machine.
- Make sure you have a good 1st layer with it squished on the bed
- If using a printer equipped with auto bed leveling make sure it is calibrated
- Make sure you are heating up the bed
- Slow down your 1st layer speed to improve adhesion
Recommended Bed Temperatures
- ABS/ASA – 100-110C
- PETG/PCTG – 80C
- PLA – 60C
- TPU/TPE – 50C
- Nylons – Refer to manufacturer and select the higher end if there is a range.
Important Information
- This adhesive is Isopropyl Alcohol based so keep it away from open flames and other ignition sources
- We use a water + IPA base to help the adhesive dry quicker than cheaper water-based adhesives. It also helps with dissolution and transfer of the glues in the solution.
- Replace the cap when you are done applying the product to your bed to keep it from drying out
- Bottles have a seal in them – Unscrew the top and remove the seal before use.
- Store bottle upright after using – Bottles can possibly leak if left on their side or upside down for extended periods of time.
- KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN – DO NOT DRINK

I print allot in ABS and have tried many other bed adhesives and had been disappointed (mainly because I am cheap) and thought that I would forever be relegated to ABS Slurry for my adhesive. The pain in the rear to doing that was the cleaning of the glass. Tim placed it on a discount and I decided to bite the bullet.
It is nice on how easy it lays on the glass and have used the original layer for a couple more prints. Warping is all but eliminated. I don’t see any residue on the black printed parts. Sticks to the part during the entire print and finally releases cleanly (including the brim) upon the bed cooling. Cleaning is so much nicer now. A simple soap and water dose the trick nicely. I tried to clean the bed with alcohol which worked out on a forth print but I really don’t recommend do that.
Would I buy this again? Well, I did and bought 2 more so 1 will be a gift for a friend.

I love my aftermarket Bambu Lab X1-Carbon build plates with cool designs like the PEO plates. But some filaments just do not like sticking to it. So I figured I would give this bed cement a try on the PEO build plate….. It prints on it with great adhesion and the printed surface looks as nothing was even applied to the build plate!

Awesome bed cement that works exactly as intended. Only thing I wish is that it was maybe a little thicker. A thicker solution would provide better control on where and how it’s applied. Otherwise amazing. Recommend.

I know it makes a difference because when i get lazy about applying it, failures start to happen — and then STOP when i apply!
Applicator is great. Much less of a gooey mess than stick glue.

I have used this glue 3 times, and it has spilt on my floor 3 times. when pulling off the lid the applicator likes to come off also, no twisting required. cleanup is easy with alcohol on cement floor. besides making a mess the glue seems to work well enough.

Tim’s Bed Cement works great. It really works as described. Holds the print firmly and easily releases. TPU can be a bugger to release. Just finished doing a batch of TPU prints and the Bed Cement held the prints and easily released them. The TPU came off the bed so easy and clean! Thanks Tim for bringing the community another great product!

I tried it on some of my build plates that don’t need anything – just to be extra sure. It worked on my Bambu X1C, My Prusa XL, and a Rat Rig. Put it on once and have been printing for days. I will have to check the bottle, I didn’t see the applicator. I took the top off to remove the seal and just poured a little on the plate and spread it around with a small piece of paper towel. I have used Vison Miner and this compares well at a much more affordable price

Nothing better for the price!

Sticks down prints very strong for about 3 prints before it’s worse than using nothing at all. I’ve noticed a similar thing happen with vision miner, but that only lasted one print. The bottle leaks when putting the cap back on and the applicator puts it down heavy. Overall, it’s a good adhesive, and I’ll mainly use it for tricky abs prints.

The adhesive provides strong grip for approximately 3-4 prints before needing reapplication. After a certain number of uses, the prints no longer adhere well, which also happens with vision miner. The adhesive does not seem to work well with Polymaker’s Panchroma™ CoPE, as the prints easily lift off the bed. This issue may not be due to the adhesive itself, but rather the specific plastic blend used for CoPE. The bottles aren’t my favorite and leak when putting the cap back on. Sometimes the whole cap comes off instead of just the slide on cover. The cap also cracks if you leave it on too tight.

Compared to others I have tried, this stuff is GREAT! It works exactly as described. I will be using TH3D Bed Cement going forward.
