This is a no-frills ABL sensor. No complicated setup or wiring. Works on ALL printer bed types (including glass, garolite, flex plates, and more) and probing speeds up to 15mm/s. Made by the same factory as our EZABL kit sensors and all tested to be accurate within 0.008mm or better. This is a DIY focused sensor for makers that want something reliable, accurate, and simple. Connects to most printer control boards and toolhead boards. Cable comes with bare ends so you can terminate with any ends you like based on your connection method. Cable can also be cut to any length with no issues. Works in enclosures up to 70C chamber temperatures.

- Working Voltage – 5V DC 0.05A
- Diameter – 8mm – Fits 8mm probe mounts and EZABL 8mm Mounts
- Cable Length – 1.0 Meter
- Wire ends are bare – terminate with plug for your installation
- Cable can be cut and stripped to any length (note – once wire is cut sensor cannot be returned)
- Sensing Distance – ~2.0mm
- Mounting Distance – Recommended to mount the sensor around 1mm higher than the nozzle
- Accuracy – 0.008mm or better
- Accuracy depends on printer it is installed on – printers with mechanical issues will have lower accuracy. The probe is only as accurate as your printer build.
- Wire Pinout
- Brown Wire – 5VDC Positive (+)
- Blue Wire – Ground
- Black Wire – Signal
- Firmware Notes
- Normally open logic for firmware setup. Signal pin is pulled to ground when trggered.
- Works with Existing EZABL options in Unified 2 firmware when the signal pin is wired to Z endstop signal pin (power can be pulled from any 5V DC power source/pins)
- On EZBoard V1/V2 control boards you wire this to the SERVO header and enable the “V3_EZABL_ON_SERVO” option in the firmware to tell the board to use that header for the ABL probe.
- Maximum Chamber Temp – 70C
- Technical support is NOT included
- If you want a sensor with technical support included and doesn’t involve terminating wire ends, we’d recommend going with the EZABL instead.
