Installation Notes:
- Be sure to check the polarity on the wires you are connecting our fans to. Typically red is positive and black is negative but some of the Chinese printers to not adhere to these standards.
- There is no list of what machines use what as it can vary from model to model and we have even seen differences in wiring colors used in the same printer models.
- Our fans use red for positive and black for negative. You can verify polarity with a cheap $10 multimeter from Amazon or you local hardware store.
- If fans are shorted out/killed due to improper wiring this is NOT covered under warranty.

DIY Part Fitment/Installation/Wiring
This is a universal DIY 3D printer part. That means it will work on almost any 3D printer, but you must know what you are doing.
Our technical support does not cover selecting/designing/assisting in firmware setup and/or 3d models to install this part on your printer. If purchased as part of a kit from TH3D for a particular printer, then it will be covered under the kit when using our firmware package.
Electrical replacement parts usually will require you to splice wires into your existing ones for the part you are replacing (soldering and heat shrinking wire splices is recommended for proper connection).
Some of our universal electrical parts come with bare wire ends or plugs on them. These ends may or may not directly plug into your 3D printer. If they do not, you will need to splice the wires into the existing ones on your 3D printer.

As advertised, works great on the ender 3 v2. Yellow + Blue -, at least on my board. I liked the inclusion of scotch locks, very cool. I soldered, but I find that to be a very thoughtful practice for those that do not! Great job!

Question
Larry Shirley –
Will this fan work with cr10v3?Looks like exhaust opening may be wider but cant tell from photo

Tim Hoogland –
The 4010 will not fit but our 5015 would be a replacement for the stock layer fan. You can see that here: TH3D 5015 High Speed Blower Fan V2 (24V) – Dual Ball Bearing

Question
p.grandmont –
Is this quieter than the original blower fans on ender 3 and ender 5 plus?
Thanks in advance!

Tim Hoogland –
This is about the same. We’d be surprised if you’d notice a difference in the noise levels between the 2 fans. Ours is a dual ball-bearing fan so it will last a long time before needing to be replaced.

Question
The_Bishop –
Are these fans more balanced than the Winsinn 4010 blowers? I have a few of those and they all vibrate a little too much.

Tim Hoogland –
We don’t carry the Winsinn blowers so we cannot comment on them. We haven’t had any complaints or had issues with being off-balance on ours. We also use high-quality ball bearings on the fans so they run longer and smoother.

Just connected this to a 24v power supply to compare it to the WinSinn and stock Creality 4010 fans. This fan (no pun intended) blows them out of the water. It’s a touch louder, but doesn’t vibrate nearly as much as the comparison fans and moves a lot more air. This is worth the price!

Question
Kenny Lin –
I have an Anycubic Vyper and I’m wondering if I should replace my stock fans with this or the 40mm Sealed Bearing Fan that you also sell?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
Tim Hoogland –
You should replace the fan with the same type and size that is already on the machine. The other fan you mention will not fit in a 4010 blower-style can mount.

Eric Leal –
Can you provide the static pressure (mmH2O or inH2O) that these fans are rated for?

We do not have that information available for these fan models.

I just installed this fan in my Ender 5pro. I didn’t realize how dead my old cooling fan was. Ahhh, so this is how it should work 🙂
