These hotends print and function like OEM with the added benefit of swappable nozzles and reinforced heatbreak. Don’t be fooled by the red “v3” hotends on Aliexpress or Amazon that print poorly. These are one of the best Bambu X1/P1 hotends out right now.

ASSEMBLY NOTE – DO NOT overtighten the titanium screws. Breakage of the M1.6x6mm titanium screws is NOT covered under warranty and will damage the hotend.

Assembly Directions
- Assemble the hotend per the video below.
- If your hotend is partially assembled, disassemble it as shown in the video before beginning.
- Once assembled, you can install the hotend like the stock Bambu lab one.
- To change the nozzle heat the hotend up to 240C for 5 minutes, then unscrew the old nozzle, install the new one and gently tighten the new nozzle.
- When unscrewing the nozzle quickly turn the wrench or socket – while a wrench is included we do recommend using a socket (4.0mm Size) if you are new to changing nozzles.

Just a great layout and smarter than pulling on the small wires to change out a nozzle. I know Bambu probably did this to keep things in house, but to swap out a hotend in their design would certainly mean worn wires in short order. Converting your hotend to just be able to swap out the nozzle just makes sense. My only complaint was the shipping cost was high for such a small box! OH – if you order multiple nozzles, don’t throw out the paperwork – the spare nozzle is stapled to it in a small bag!
