What is this kit for and why should I get it?
This kit replaces the stock touch LCD to give you more control and features over YOUR printer. There is also a USB passthrough cutout on the LCD case to let you pass a USB cable through into the bottom of the printer.
The stock LCD does not give you access to tuning settings like acceleration, jerk, steps per mm, and many others. This also allows for live Z adjustment (babystepping) and much more control over the core operations of your printer. PID tuning is available as well to fine-tune your hotend and bed temperature regulation. This goes great with our EZABL kit for automatic bed leveling.
Requires a firmware update that you can download for free from our page here: Unified 2 Firmware – Ender 6. The Ender 6 has a bootloader already and updates with the SD slot by placing a firmware file on the card and turning the printer on. See the firmware page for full details on how to use and update the firmware.

I love how these guys pay attention to the feedback they receive. The new case fits the screen perfectly!! I have much better control over my ender 6 with this upgrade. Make no mistake this is a definite worth while upgrade. If you do not want the best prints you can get then stick with the creality crap screen.

Love how much easier this is than the touchscreen. Plus all the new settings available. I connect my printer to my Unraid server running an Octoprint docker. So I added a micro usb adapter I ordered from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015PG6VU6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_B2QW68NSGTNDW2W883GR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Had to shave the USB hole too and bottom 1 mm or 2 to get a nice snug fit. Could also add your usb power cutter but I had already snipped the pin on my USB cable.
