Question
Alex Zarenin –
Would these work with micro swiss hot end?

Tim Hoogland –
Only if it has the screw in type fitting. If you have the integrated fitting then it will not work with the microswiss.

Question
Josh (verified owner) –
Do these require a printed clip to lock them? The ones I received seem to release when the tube is push down

Tim Hoogland –
They do not. Your tubing should not be able to be pushed down if it is fully inserted. Fittings require tension on one end to keep it locked in place. Try inserting the tube all the way with the fitting backed out about 1/4 turn. Then once it is fully inserted tighten the fitting down the rest of the way.

I’ve gone through all those cheap pneumatic coupler out there, and they ALL tear apart the bowden tube. I’ve seen tubes prolapse themselves, causing choke points, i’ve had filament pierce the tubes where they connect at the coupler, I’ve seen it all. Those cheap ones don’t even release the tube when you depress the top.
But finally, i found a set that doesn’t do any of that but still grips hard. The difference is night and day. The price you pay here is well worth it. No more broken bowden tubes.

Question
Sage Daniel –
Will this work on Ender3 V2? I’m also upgrading to PTFE tubing.

Tim Hoogland (verified owner) –
Yes, this will fit the Ender 3 V2 hotend PTFE fitting. If you want one for the extruder we carry that as well here: Tough PTFE PC4-M6 Fitting – 3 Pack

Question
Geoffrey Schaller –
How well / easily do these release the tubing for maintenance (When you press the top down)? With other brands, they hook into the tubing and you can’t remove it to do maintenance – you need to remove the whole thing to clear a jam / clog.

Tim Hoogland (verified owner) –
Good fittings will bite into the tube pretty well. Most of the time these will have to be unscrewed to remove the tube if it’s been installed for a while.

I didn’t know that I was using lower-quality fittings until I got this one. As soon as I picked it up I could tell it was gonna fix my issue. You can feel the spring action in the coupler spot where the PTFE tube goes in and those teeth get a solid hold on the tube.

Jeremy Chase (verified owner) –
Hello! I just received mine. Do I need these blue things in the picture for them since they didn’t come with any? If so, what are they called. Thanks!

Tim Hoogland (verified owner) –
Hi there, our fittings and pictures of our fittings do not show that piece. You can use a clip if you want but our fittings do not need them.

These are night and day between the stock ones. Much better quality.
