I’ve been passionate about tinkering, electronics, and computers since I was young. In 2016, I discovered 3D printing, and it quickly became more than just a hobby—it became my mission.
With over a decade of IT experience in support, project management, and systems administration, along with earning my Eagle Scout rank in 2007, I founded TH3D Studio to make 3D printing easier and more accessible. My goal is to help makers spend less time troubleshooting and more time printing.

TH3D Studio is based out of Hobart, IN. All of our team members are in the US, we do not outsource any of our positions to people outside the US. When you call or email us you will get someone in the US who knows their stuff.
Honest Reviews
Unlike other people in the 3D printing space who rely on making sales through affiliate programs, we do not. We will always be honest when reviewing a 3D printer even if there are issues.
Many channels (especially ones that work with Bambu Labs) are bound by agreements where they cannot be honest with you on negative aspects of products. If they do, they get cut off from review units. We do not typically receive free printers anymore because companies want us to omit or lie about problems with products.

Our focus is to get our customers the best products at fair prices. We’re all makers here, and we know how frustrating getting cheap parts from China is and not getting what you wanted the first time.
Everything we carry are parts and products that we use on our in-house machines to make our lives easier. There is enough to worry about in this hobby/industry so let us help simplify your 3D printing life by ensuring you get quality parts and excellent support.
When we design products, we take the time to run them through stress testing and analysis to make sure they work and last. Unlike many vendors in the 3D printing market, we do not use our customers to test our products, we sell products that work and are free of major design flaws.

Upgraded my old CR-10S to 32bit (now direct drive and 750W bed with custom heated cabinet.
The unified firmware is definitely the way to go. Select CR-10 in the beginning (no separate selections for CR-10 variants) and you are off! You do have to parallel the 2 Z motors and use the EXP3 connector on the old monochrome display (get a new one if you only have the 2 connectors)

The difference is night and day. The light that came with the P1s worked BUT, this upgrade is GREAT! Came with enough wire ties for wire management. I was lazy to make my own 45deg attachment but purchase there's. Worked out well. Moved the light where they needed to be and plugged them in, perfect.

Was a good match for my Ender 3 with the Creality Glass Bed upgrade. I wired it in to the Z Probe connector on my BTT SKR Mini E3 V2.0 board as was shown in the wiring example image, updated the Merlin firmware the Z Probe enable options, set the Z probe pin to PC14, and enabled UBL bed levelling. Worked out great after setting the automatic mesh and ran a Prusa bed levelling test print with outstanding results.

Definitely feels and looks like an upgrade over the stock Bambu Ptfe Tubes hopefully they’ll last much longer.

Everything was included, but the screws included and the ones on the printer will not work with the 3d printed cover and attachment block. I had to go out and purchase M4X16 and M5X16 screws to complete the build. You need to update your inventory.
I copied the Ender 3 Max Neo bin file to the sd card (formatted to Fat32 and 4096) did not flash the bios. I'll be working through that now. Or maybe tomorrow.

I asked to see if these mounts would fit in my CR-200B and the response I got was that it was unsure since it wasn't tested on my model printer which was fine.
I decided to "send it" went to install them but the holes didn't line up exactly so I just shaved off 1 - 2mm where it was interfering with my bed plate mount and was able to install them with no fuss after that.
I can't wait to get my printer up and running and see how the mounts help with my prints!
