After the live stream, we realized we did not test the thermal runaway protection on the Mega Zero V2. While the hotend has protection on it, the bed heater does not. This is unacceptable and poses a fire hazard risk for customers of the AnyCubic Mega Zero V2. We disconnected the bed heater and told the machine to heat to 60C. After more than 15 minutes nothing has triggered. This indicates that it is disabled in firmware.

It is highly recommended to update your printer firmware to one that has proper thermal runaway protection in it. We have firmware on our help center for this machine available today for free.
