I’ve been passionate about tinkering, electronics, and computers since I was young. In 2016, I discovered 3D printing, and it quickly became more than just a hobby—it became my mission.
With over a decade of IT experience in support, project management, and systems administration, along with earning my Eagle Scout rank in 2007, I founded TH3D Studio to make 3D printing easier and more accessible. My goal is to help makers spend less time troubleshooting and more time printing.

TH3D Studio is based out of Hobart, IN. All of our team members are in the US, we do not outsource any of our positions to people outside the US. When you call or email us you will get someone in the US who knows their stuff.
Honest Reviews
Unlike other people in the 3D printing space who rely on making sales through affiliate programs, we do not. We will always be honest when reviewing a 3D printer even if there are issues.
Many channels (especially ones that work with Bambu Labs) are bound by agreements where they cannot be honest with you on negative aspects of products. If they do, they get cut off from review units. We do not typically receive free printers anymore because companies want us to omit or lie about problems with products.
Focus on Quality and Service
Our focus is to get our customers the best products at fair prices. We’re all makers here, and we know how frustrating getting cheap parts from China is and not getting what you wanted the first time.
Everything we carry are parts and products that we use on our in-house machines to make our lives easier. There is enough to worry about in this hobby/industry so let us help simplify your 3D printing life by ensuring you get quality parts and excellent support.
When we design products, we take the time to run them through stress testing and analysis to make sure they work and last. Unlike many vendors in the 3D printing market, we do not use our customers to test our products, we sell products that work and are free of major design flaws.

My only complaint is shipping costs. I sell things on the side and the shipping costs for 11m of this was ridiculously high. Like 3x as much as it should be. Could’ve tossed it in a flat rate box for 1/2 the price.

Excellent product for my Ender 5 Pro with Micro swiss extruder
It is so easy to work with. Just choose your options then compile. The suggested answers are provided for speed etc. for different extruders.

I needed a firmware update to my Creality V2.1 controller board to enable a CR Touch probe. Between the online video explaining how to set up VS Code and the excellent comments in the Configuration.h file, I had no trouble setting up automatic bed leveling on a Creality CR-10S5 printer. The whole thing works great and I like the printer a lot more than I did before the upgrade.

Holy crap this stuff is awesome. I shied away from wanting to use any sorts of glue stick or adhesive. I assumed it was messy and thought I was better without it. I was dead wrong this stuff is a game changer for first layers. And small surface area prints. Can’t recommend it enough. Goes on easy, cleans off super easy with soap and water. You get plenty of prints out of an application. Fantastic stuff.

Upgraded my old CR-10S to 32bit (now direct drive and 750W bed with custom heated cabinet.
The unified firmware is definitely the way to go. Select CR-10 in the beginning (no separate selections for CR-10 variants) and you are off! You do have to parallel the 2 Z motors and use the EXP3 connector on the old monochrome display (get a new one if you only have the 2 connectors)

The difference is night and day. The light that came with the P1s worked BUT, this upgrade is GREAT! Came with enough wire ties for wire management. I was lazy to make my own 45deg attachment but purchase there's. Worked out well. Moved the light where they needed to be and plugged them in, perfect.
