Yes this will. You would use 1 LCD cable and connect it to the EXP3 header on the LCD.

Jalen Byon (verified owner) –
So if I want to use this screen with an Ender 3v2, and I’m using the Unified firmware, should I just define my printer as a plain 3 rather than a 3v2 in order to get the LCD to function?

Tim Hoogland (verified owner) –
Yes, that is correct. See our guide here: http://support.th3dstudio.com/hc/guides/upgrades-printer-information/ender-3-v2-swapping-to-the-12864-creality-lcd-for-more-features/

Question

I recently upgraded my CR-10 Mini to a 32 bit v.4.2.7 board. I uploaded the TH3D firmware and it worked really well. I worked on the printer lately and realized the screen was flat blue. I checked every connections and nothing seems wrong except the LCD pushbuttion isn’t beeping anymore. Before purchasing this item, I was wondering if I missing on something else? or the my stock display is just dead …

Tim Hoogland (verified owner) –
It’s possible. Make sure you are connecting to the EXP3 header on the stock display. If you have an older display with 2 cables and no EXP3 header then you would need the Dual Cable LCD adapter board to use the old display with the new board.

EDN (verified owner) –
What is this display called in the marlin configuration.h file? I have a non-standard setup and need to compile my own firmware.

Tim Hoogland (verified owner) –
It really depends on the board you are using with it and the wiring. On boards that it is a direct plug (like creality boards with ONE LCD plug) in via the EXP3 header its usually CR10_STOCKDISPLAY. If you are using the EXP1+EXP2 to the board then usually it uses the REPRAP_DISCOUNT_FULL_GRAPHIC_SMART_CONTROLLER setting.
