Compatible Machines:
- Universal – This works with any 24V printer when you use a hotend mount that supports a 5015 Layer Fan.
Installation Notes:
- Be sure to check the polarity on the wires you are connecting our fans to. Typically red is positive and black/blue is negative but some of the Chinese printers do not adhere to these standards.
- There is no list of what machines use what as it can vary from model to model and we have even seen differences in wiring colors used in the same printer models.
- Our fans use red for positive and black(or blue) for negative. You can verify polarity with a cheap $10 multimeter from Amazon or you local hardware store.
- If fans are shorted out/killed due to improper wiring this is NOT covered under warranty.
- When replacing a fan you will want to splice into the existing wire to your existing fan. Connect the wires with solder and heatshrink OR use our Quick Solder connectors.

Part Fitment/Installation
This is a universal 3D printer part. That means it will work on almost any 3D printer (check your printer voltage and part voltage) with the correct mount for your specific machine. Thingiverse is a wonderful place to locate mounts and we also have printed parts in our shop for some universal parts.
It is up to you to determine and select a mount for your specific printer model (or design one) to install this part on your machine and wire it up to your machine (if applicable). You are welcome to Contact Us for recommendations for your particular printer model for mounting options that are available online if searching yourself does not yield any results.

Added this to my cooling duct upgrade. My only recommendation is the option to include a pair of JST plugs to make the removal easier for maintenance. I ordered some from Amazon instead.

Was trying to upgrade the parts cooling on my kobra max, but I could not get any of the 5015 fans I’d bought off of amazon to work at anything under 100% speed. I ended up plugging and unplugging the fans dozens of times and repeatedly flashing the firmware with different FAN_SOFT_PWM values as google told me was the answer and ended up shorting out the fan control after getting careless. After replacing the motherboard and going back to stock firmware, I was able to get these running with no other modifications, while all the other brands I’d tried were still struggling.

Super quiet and with a nice long cable so you have plenty of room to splice or make your own custom mount to suit your needs

they do their job, and do it well. Depending on the duct almost too well 😉
Big thing is after you add this to your parts cooling set up is making sure your parts duct is positioned correctly and possibly turning the fan speed down during prints. These babies really move a lot of air.

This is a nice upgrade for my Sunlu S8 with a Red Squirrel shroud. Tons of airflow!

They blow a lot of air and still work at very low fan speeds. They seemed kind of weak at first, but I guess there was a break-in period since they blow a lot more air now.

These TH3D fans are definitely an upgrade from the ones I bought on Amazon. Significant quality difference. I now have dual 5015 on the hotend, can make the longest ridiculous bridges and over hangs. Accidentally got shipped a 12v and 24v, instead of dual 24v, but customer support rectified the issue and sent a replacement out literally the next day. Couldn’t be happier going through TH3D! Thanks.

Works great with the petsfang fan mount on the Ender 3 with the tough hotend. Quiet and high cfm. Great quality

I was previously using 2 4010 fans in a hero me duct. Because I am adding the EZabl I decided to go with a single 5015 fan to clear up room on the left side of the nozzle. I can tell you this 5015 fan moves more air than dual 4010’s. I am totally impressed with this fan. On my Ender 5 it will not run with anything less than 100% speed. I am installing an EZboard in the next couple of days so I will take care of that problem at that time. Buy this fan. You will be glad you did.

This fan is the fan I adapted for my Artiller3D sidewinder. The stock fan is like a fart in the wind, and this fan is like a hurricane. I can’t believe how hard this fan blows. Also the picture doesn’t look like the fan I got. The one I got looks like a micro DC RC motor with a fan blade on it. Get this fan.

The TH3D team only selects the best parts. This is why these fans are selected as well. unlike the Noctua fan pushing much lower air flow this 5015 blower is a powerhouse. There is some whine initially but partnered with the fan fix from the TH3D unified firmware that is gone instantly.
Once again a great product for any system.

So you need a fan? They don’t last forever so buy an extra. This is an exact reply just double check the voltage 12/24
