EZOut V3 Filament Sensor Kit for Creality Ender 2 Pro

Have you ever run out of filament during a print? Now you don’t have to worry! When you get the EZOut V3 filament sensor you feed the filament through our sensor and when it runs out the printer will wait for you to load more filament into the printer so you can resume the print! Absolutely ZERO soldering required to install this. Easily add a filament sensor to your 3D printer today! This is a full kit that includes our custom cable and filament sensor. You will need to update your firmware which is included via the firmware offer mentioned above.

Included cable is 1 meter long, we also sell 200mm extensions.

Installation Steps

1. Connect the cable end with the label that says “THIS END GOES TO SENSOR” to the EZOut V3 Sensor
2. Plug the other end into your control board to the J1 port on the board.
3. Update the firmware. You will uncomment the ENDER2_PRO option and the EZOUT_ENABLE option, then compile. Once compiled, put the BIN file on the SD card, power on the machine and it will update

CPU COMPATIBILITY NOTE
(README AND CHECK BEFORE PURCHASING)

Creality has shipped some boards with CPUs that are not real STM32 processors. Please check the CPU on your control board and if it says “STM32” on it’s markings this kit will work with it. If your CPU says “HC32” anywhere in the part number this board is NOT able to be updated due to the CPU they used.

If you have an HC32 CPU board the only way to upgrade the firmware to use kits like this one or others on the market you will need to replace it with a board like the V4.2.7 or EZBoard V2 in order to update the firmware to use new addons and even to just upgrade the firmware.
