Creality Ender 7 12864 LCD Conversion/Upgrade Kit

What does this kit do?

This kit replaces the stock LCD and firmware on the printer. The hardest part of the installation is soldering on the LCD header (which we can do for you if you select the above option and send your board in). Once this is installed you will have full control over the printer in terms of editing the firmware to suit your needs, the ability to set/tweak printer settings (like steps per mm, full EEPROM support for storing settings, ABL systems, acceleration, jerk, hotend tuning for accurate temp regulation, and much more.

Tired of leveling your bed? This kit also unlocks full support for our EZABL kits so you never have to level your bed again. This printer will ONLY work with our 8mm Micro version since the hotend is a compact design. You can order the EZABL kit separately and you will also want to pick up the Z signal cable to connect to the EZABL control board so you can mount the EZABL control box in the bottom of the machine and not have to cut your Z endstop cable. The stock Z endstop is connected in the TOP of the printer over the ribbon cable so it is not recommended to install the EZABL control board up there.

Firmware Download

Requires a firmware update that is included with the purchase of this kit. Unlike Creality, we provide FULL source code so you can modify the firmware to your own liking and setup.

Will this work with Klipper?

Yes, these LCDs and the stock board are supported by Klipper firmware. We do offer paid technical support for all Klipper setups if you need help getting your printer setup with Klipper.

NOTE: If you self-solder the LCD header onto your board this is done AT YOUR OWN RISK. We will not be responsible if you damage your board while trying to solder the header on. If you do not want to risk it, you can send us your board and we will do it for you if you add it on above.
