Our EZBoard V2 is the latest board from us at TH3D Studio. This board is a drop-in replacement for many printer models from Creality and Sovol. To verify compatibility see the Supported Printer list below.

Build Quality – We use only high-quality and original parts on our boards and our PCB is 4 layers with 2oz copper on every layer. Our screw terminals are from Phoenix Contact. The other components on our boards are name-brand with tight tolerances. This means your EZBoard will last for years to come and give you a reliable board for your printer.
Genuine ST CPU + EEPROM – Our EZBoard is powered by a Genuine ST Micro F4 series CPU running at 168mhz with a whopping 1MB of flash memory. We also have a dedicated 4K EEPROM chip for your EEPROM settings. Unlike other companies who are swapping CPUs to lesser brands we guarantee that our boards come with a real STM32 CPU and not a clone.
Trinamic Drivers – The drivers are Trinamic TMC2209 drivers that provide up to 2A per motor of continuous current and are fully configurable from the firmware thanks to the UART connection between the drivers and CPU. Need to change motor current or mode? You can do it right from the LCD or Gcode.

The EZBoard V2 has been in development for almost a year now and we’ve racked up over 1000 hours of print time on them before ever selling a single one. We’ve performed extensive testing on these boards to make sure thermals are good and there are no electrical issues. You have our word and promise that we will not sell you a board that is not done.
Many vendors that sell cheap boards in the 3D printing market have a history of selling boards that have major issues and/or are not even 100% working when they are sold. Here at TH3D, we believe in selling products that are 100% working and not using our customers as guinea pigs to test things out.

Our board runs our popular Unified 2 as well as other 3rd party firmware like Marlin 2 and Klipper.

Sovol SV06 – Requires extra wiring for the stock ABL sensor.

Note that this is only required for the stock ABL sensor. If you are also converting to our EZABL kit then you will not need to use the stock ABL sensor plug.

This will replace the stock board and it supports the BLTouch. While you can compile your own firmware one of the big benefits of our board is our website that compiles it for you. You can actually check out the website before purchase by going to https://ezfirmware.th3dstudio.com. You'll also get technical support from our US support team if you need help. :)
You would need to contact Creality for support on their Sonic Pad. Their device runs a bastardized version of Klipper that is not compatible with mainline Klipper so it limits you on what you can do with it. Our EZBoard does work with Klipper but we do not do anything support wise with the Sonic Pad as its a horrible product. Also, just a FYI - the Sonic Pad is running code stolen from the community and should not be purchased. If you want to use a Klipper type pad you should get something like the BTT PAD7 as they support open source unlike Crealitys.
If you want to use the LCD on your printer you're going to want to swap out the color LCD for the 12864. We have a kit for that here: https://www.th3dstudio.com/product/creality-ender-3-v2-12864-lcd-conversion-upgrade-kit/
The X1 mounting hole pattern is slightly off from this board. We do have one in our X1 here at the shop. We just modified the stock printer enclosure (had to remove one standoff with a dremel) and then flashed it as an Ender 3 model.

So far so good way better than. Creality or big tree
Install was easy I was in running within a hour
All of my compatible printers are immediately upgraded to TH3D’s boards. I also install these in friend’s machines. I have bought several of these and TH3D’s Unified firmware with tutorials makes this very easy. Add EZABL and a flex PEI sheet from TH3D and you turn a mundane printer into a reliable superstar! TH3D’s support and quality easily justifies the investment.
The board is a fantastic replacement. It is a 100% form match for the screw holes, usb, and microsd card.
Really like these boards. They are solid. You can feel the weight of the board when you get it in your hand. Setup was a breeze and the support guys were super helpful with any questions I had.
I got this board to replace my Creality 4.2.2 board since I wanted something that worked more flawlessly with my other upgrades. This board is awesome! EZNeo lights work perfectly. EZABL is great (though I had to use it on the servio pins instead of the Z-endstop pins). EZOut worked great. And my favorite part is the EZFirmware site! No more VS Code installing and ZIP files to deal with. It’s all done in a web browser which is super cool!
It’s boringly reliable, and is exactly what I needed.
