High-Quality, Packed with Features, Easy to Use, & Technical Support
Our EZBoard V2 is the latest board from us at TH3D Studio. This board is a drop-in replacement for many printer models from Creality and Sovol. To verify compatibility see the Supported Printer list below.
If you are looking for a high-quality, reliable board that doesn’t require you to know programming to use, then this is the board for you.
Unmatched Support – In addition to being physically made well, we also provide 1 on 1 technical support through our TH3D Help Desk and TH3D Live Chat.
Lifetime Firmware Updates – Our EZBoard builds in our Unified 2 Firmware suite will remain 100% free for all EZBoard customers.
Painless Firmware Updates – We also have an exclusive firmware website, called EZFirmware, that allows you to compile firmware without ever touching VSCode or complicated programming options.
Build Quality – We use only high-quality and original parts on our boards and our PCB is 4 layers with 2oz copper on every layer. Our screw terminals are from Phoenix Contact. The other components on our boards are name-brand with tight tolerances. This means your EZBoard will last for years to come and give you a reliable board for your printer.
Genuine ST CPU + EEPROM – Our EZBoard is powered by a Genuine ST Micro F4 series CPU running at 168mhz with a whopping 1MB of flash memory. We also have a dedicated 4K EEPROM chip for your EEPROM settings. Unlike other companies who are swapping CPUs to lesser brands we guarantee that our boards come with a real STM32 CPU and not a clone.
Trinamic Drivers – The drivers are Trinamic TMC2209 drivers that provide up to 2A per motor of continuous current and are fully configurable from the firmware thanks to the UART connection between the drivers and CPU. Need to change motor current or mode? You can do it right from the LCD or Gcode.
Tested in-house, Not on Customers
The EZBoard V2 has been in development for almost a year now and we’ve racked up over 1000 hours of print time on them before ever selling a single one. We’ve performed extensive testing on these boards to make sure thermals are good and there are no electrical issues. You have our word and promise that we will not sell you a board that is not done.
Many vendors that sell cheap boards in the 3D printing market have a history of selling boards that have major issues and/or are not even 100% working when they are sold. Here at TH3D, we believe in selling products that are 100% working and not using our customers as guinea pigs to test things out.
Compatible with Multiple Firmwares
Our board runs our popular Unified 2 as well as other 3rd party firmware like Marlin 2 and Klipper.

This is the very first use of my Ender 5 pro using the new Ezboard v2 and Ezabl 18mm. It’s very near perfect. No tweaks, just the default settings in Cura. That top surface is as smooth as silk. Very impressed. Once I have made some tiny alterations for the next time I slice a model it will be 100% perfect

When they say quiet that’s exactly what you get.
There are some new features that make the printing experience better than ever. Definitely worth the money

Just by looking at it I can tell the quality was miles ahead of my creality board. My creality 427 board had capacitors and other parts that weren’t even touching the board only solder holding them in. This board was easy to install and is working so easily. And the firmware was so easy to get and flash. Love this board it has fixed all my issues so far!! Keep up the great work.

My S4 has a gazillion hours on it. I ended up fighting the issue where the thermistor wigs out only when you are printing but not when it’s just sitting still. Tried wiggling every wire on the machine and couldn’t get it to mess up. Internet says there is a capacitor in the original 8 bit board that has failed and causes the issue. This board checks all the boxes. I like the fact that it is laid out so well and every terminal is properly labeled. I love the 32 bit board with the silent drivers. This board coupled with the TH3D software is all you should ever need. My S4 is printing better than it ever has. The steppers are now so quite that it alarmed me when I saw the machine moving but did not hear anything.

It’s amazing how quiet this made my Ender 5 Plus. The cooling fan now makes more noise than the steppers. Had a bit of minor issues getting it all right, but with a bit of time watching videos and the FAQ I got it figured out. (Wire orders on the stock headers are different and needed changed around, had to change some settings with the BL Touch manually in the firmware, etc…)
With everything tightened up and re-leveled it’s printing better than the day I first put it together.

I got this set up in my CR-10 V2 and with help available via the website lit, and some chat support. From someone without a ton of experience with this, and zero with compiling custom firmware, it went real smooth and is working perfectly. Everything about the printer is running way better than it did on the stock board, and the extra options and fine adjustments within have made a world of difference. Already the best level bed test print I’ve ever had with the z-offset babysteps, so I’m looking forward to get on it with legit print project.

All of my compatible printers are immediately upgraded to TH3D’s boards. I also install these in friend’s machines. I have bought several of these and TH3D’s Unified firmware with tutorials makes this very easy. Add EZABL and a flex PEI sheet from TH3D and you turn a mundane printer into a reliable superstar! TH3D’s support and quality easily justifies the investment.

Really like these boards. They are solid. You can feel the weight of the board when you get it in your hand. Setup was a breeze and the support guys were super helpful with any questions I had.

I got this board to replace my Creality 4.2.2 board since I wanted something that worked more flawlessly with my other upgrades. This board is awesome! EZNeo lights work perfectly. EZABL is great (though I had to use it on the servio pins instead of the Z-endstop pins). EZOut worked great. And my favorite part is the EZFirmware site! No more VS Code installing and ZIP files to deal with. It’s all done in a web browser which is super cool!

It’s boringly reliable, and is exactly what I needed.

Great board, fast, and super reliable. You may be paying more than other brands, but that’s because you are getting quality hardware, components, design, and actual customer service here in the states.

Unfortunately, I have a lot of experience with those junk SKR boards out of China. Right now, I’m sitting at a 50% failure rate on them. When my brand new Ender 5 Plus just wasn’t playing nice, I decided to ditch the Creality board and try one of these.
While I LOVE dinking around in Marlin, I need my printer up and running ASAP. I installed the board, installed the firmware and VIOLA! I was printing high quality parts. I dialed in the steps and now it’s all spot-on! Thanks TH3D!

Easy swap for Cr10s, awesome support as ussual.
Nothing to say TH3d=quality.
Thanks for that!!!

I have 4 printers and have upgraded all of them to the EZboard V2. I think it’s the best mainboard out there and I don’t mind paying for quality. I’m an engineer and I like the attention to detail this board shows. The stepper drivers are heat sinked through the board, the way they are designed to be. Trinamic publishes data sheets and the other guys don’t bother to read them. That’s not engineering, that’s hacking. Who wants to save their configuration data on an SD card? An EEPROM is the right way and the EZboard V2 has dedicated EEPROM. The price went up when the chip shortage hit, but I paid the higher price and would do so again. If your thinking about getting one, just do it. You won’t be disappointed.

Got tired of the loud motors on the Ender 5 plus after about a week. figured it was time to start modding it. This board and the easy to modify firmware made this printer work great! Don’t even waste your time on the creality board.

I was having an issue with my cr10’s extruder. It was either missing steps or over heating. After giving up trying to adjust the stock board i decided to change out the stepper motor and board. why not, better drivers and start off fresh. It went from doing half a benchy to acting like its no big. These drivers are so quiet. The board is very easy to use and a lot of quality of life upgrades over the stock board. Can’t wait to do my ender 3.

Very nice quality board that works well in my Ender 3. Installation and setup was easy using the online instructions and everything came up and worked as expected. I also ordered an EZABL at the same time and added that after I had the board installed and working. The print quality is great and there’s no more of the weird behavior I was getting with the SKR mini. It’s not always true these days but in this case, you really do get what you pay for. The EZBoard is well built and worth the price.

I am dumbfounded at how great, not only the performance of the MB, but also TH3D’S Firmware support. No one offers this level of support for the general 3D printer who doesn’t know much about compiling firmware. I attempted to use the creality v4.2.7 on my ender 5 plus, and I couldn’t get the z-offset wizard to work at all. I chased the issue for days, finally broke down and purchased the ezboard V2.0. I had this thing up and running in 15 minutes, with fantastic results using TH3D firmware. Just make sure to follow all the directions. I missed the part that firmware.bin must be the file name, no exceptions as I was used to renaming them with creality. Additionally, it’s working great with the BLtouch and micro swiss direct drive hotend.

This board was easy to put in my Ender 6. With the stock board, the temperatures fluctuated a lot. That went away with this new board. The only downside is it doesn’t appear to work with the lpc176x flash method (which copies the firmware to a micro SD card left in the board and then resets the board to flash the firmware. This is what the plugin recommends as a flash method for STM chips that update via SD card) for the Octoprint firmware updater plugin so I have to use the Marlin BFT flash method. Other than that everything works fine, after putting it in I did a 37-hour print and there were no problems.

After having so many issues with the SKR mini that came in this used ender 3, I decided I needed a new board. I really didn’t want a creality board, so this was my first choice, and I’m glad I did it. Another quality product by Tim and his team.

This was by far the easiest board swap experience I have ever had. The layouts of the board are almost identical and the same footprint. Setting up the firmware using the online ezfirmware was a welcome treat as well. I have way too many code environments I only use to compile firmware once in a while if ever, taking up room on my hard drive I did not need yet another, Set up was fast and easy very intuitive.
It prints like a dream now quiet smooth and fast. The whole process of the board swap and installing ABL and a filament sensor took about 2 hours and was a pleasure to do everything went just how it says it would in the instructions.
Thank you TH3d
